Brad Smith has been one of Australia’s leading lure designers for over 25 years. Brad was one of the early pioneers of small hard bodied minnows and has expanded his range over the years by designing lures for different fishing styles. As well as owning a tackle shop, Brad also runs a “Lure Only” Fishing Charter business on the Gold Coast where he uses his own lures exclusively on a “No Catch No Pay” basis. Brad has also worked extensively in the media including TV appearances on Channel 7 and to this day still writes regular fishing articles for newspapers and fishing magazines. These lures have been created using a lifetime of knowledge gained from being a professional fishing guide and also a commercial fisherman. This amazing lure has caught over 44 different species of fish and was rated Australia’s best small lure by the prestigious Fishing World magazine. It dives to around 1 metre and is fitted with quality chemically sharpened treble hooks.
This is a new release version of one of Smithy’s most successful lures. It is a great all rounder for both fresh and saltwater fishing. It dives to around 1.6 metres and has caught over 25 different species of fish. Its new bib shape has created an even wilder action than ever.
Yobbo has been specifically designed for freshwater fishing. Species such as Yellowbelly, Australian Bass and Murray Cod find the wild deep diving action of this lure absolutely irresistible.
Digga is a real tough battler that dives to 3 metres. It is designed for hard hitting species such as Barramundi, Flathead and Mangrove Jack. It has also caught its fair share of offshore pelagics. In recent years, Digga has featured prominently on many Barra tournament leader boards.
